The Energetics of 9-5s: Why Corporate Power Exists & What It Means for Your Business

Let’s have an honest conversation about 9-5s aka “working for the man” from an energetic perspective.

We have co-created a society (largely unconsciously) where spiritual power & energy is increasingly consolidated into a handful of large corporations.

This isn’t necessarily “bad”. It just is.

While it is OUR power that has been consolidated into these entities, it’s not as simple as just taking your power back for yourself.

Why have we done this?

Because there are benefits to giving your power “away” into a collective.

The collective looks after you in return. You often get a better return on your energy.

We’ve seen this.

Overall standards of living go up, people get to specialise in the things they are better at, rather than being a Jack of all trades.

The corporation is the modern collective.

Where this goes wrong is when that collective takes advantage of those it is meant to benefit.

Many of us have felt this.

But why is it still NOT the answer for everyone to quit & start their own thing?

Because the ENERGY required to start, scale & maintain sustainability is more significant than many of us want to admit. I mean energy in the widest sense. Spiritual energy.

This is why the collective was created in the first place.

If we want to have businesses that sustain us, we either need to lower our initial demands or be PATIENT until the stability emerges.

Whenever we create a new offer, that offer is like a baby. It needs to be nurtured & have time to play & grow.

We do not give a child adult responsibilities such as paying bills.

Are there some that create sustainability out the gate? Some. Not many.

There are many more who have a big peak but then cannot SUSTAIN.

Most people take their time to grow a business especially if they go down the solopreneur route.

So I say all of this to say this:

There is an energetic reason why 9-5s have so much power. It isn’t all bad & it isn’t all good.

If you don’t want that life & want to sustainably work for yourself be prepared to source the required SPIRITUAL ENERGY.

Because that’s what I’m talking about here.

You need way more of it than you think.
