Big Destiny Decisions: How to Choose the Right Path for Your Future

Dear friends,

It’s still New Year’s Eve here and it's the perfect time to make a wish and also make a Big Destiny Decision!

Big Destiny Decisions are anything that concerns the following:

• Marriage

• Children

• Career path

• Relocation

• Major purchases / expenditure relative to your income e.g. home, investments, businesses

These are decisions that can literally alter your path and expand (or limit) what you can achieve on it. They shouldn’t be taken lightly.

But when you are following the path of destiny, making destiny decisions becomes easy.

Here are questions to consider:

1. Do I truly desire this or do I feel like I “should” desire it?

2. Will this decision make me a better person on the inside and how? (increase and stretch my capacity for responsibility, and my ability to take care of myself and others)

3. Will this decision improve my overall life circumstances (health, wealth, relationships, joy) and how? It is fine and normal to make small and temporary sacrifices but decisions that leave our life hanging in the balance of uncertainty or destitution are NOT in alignment with destiny. A good person protects their downside.

4. Am I making this decision because I think it's the only path to get to my (bigger) goal? And if so, could I reach that goal another way - without this path?

5. Am I clear on the next steps I need to take?

When it comes down to it, you need to follow the nudges.
